To our volunteers: Thank you for your hard work as part of our record-breaking year of over 400 volunteers and participants! From your LC meetings to Workplace conversation classes, you have helped create a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment for our international community. We would love you to continue with us for another semester. If you plan on returning, please fill out the form here.

To our participants: Thank you for your enthusiasm and dedication all semester long; we have heard outstanding reports of your progress and perseverance. We have very much enjoyed working with you. If you are interested in continuing with the LC program next semester, please fill out the form here.

VISAS is now accepting applications for new volunteers for the Spring 2016 semester here and new participants here. See upcoming dates for Spring on our calendar page.

We hope you all have a restful holiday season with your friends and family. We are grateful for your work with VISAS and dedication to internationalizing the UVa community, one conversation at a time.

Volunteer Appreciation Night at the Drop-In English Café

Thanks for a great semester, VISAS!

Our Drop-In English Café will be hosting a Volunteer Appreciation Night this Tuesday, December 1st from 7-8 PM in New Cabell Hall room 232.

Stop by to mix and mingle with VISAS while chatting, playing games, snacking, and letting our volunteers know just how much they are appreciated for their hard work and dedication.

Our program depends so much on individuals who commit their time and effort to making VISAS a success, so we hope to see you there!
